Mass media plays very important roles in the achievement of the Nigeria change agenda and national development proposed by the ruling party All Progressive Congress (APC) in the year 2015. The media in draconian states, for example, are not likely to exercise the same persuasion as those in autonomous societies. Nigeria is a fairly democratic country, however in democratic governments, factors, such as economic development, political changes, educational development, socialization, technological advancement, the intended audience and the message manipulates how far the mass media impacts on the society’s will.
